Arcade Fire in Marley Park 29th June 2013
Arcade Fire are bringing their Reflektor tour to Ireland next summer for one night only to Marlay Park on Sunday 29th June. Joining them on the line up are very special guests Pixies.
Arcade Fire released their highly anticipated fourth album Reflektor in October. Produced by Arcade Fire, James Murphy and Markus Dravs, the album was recorded in Jamaica, Montreal and New York. Title track ‘Reflektor’ was released on the 9/ 9 at 9:00pm, featuring guest vocals from David Bowie and an accompanying video by long time collaborator Anton Corbijn.
This year the Pixies - Black Francis, Joey Santiago and David Lovering returned with their first collection of new music in more than 20 years. Having recorded a cache of new songs with renowned producer Gil Norton (who had previously produced some of the bands finest albums Doolittle, Bossa Nova and Trompe Le Monde) they released ‘Bagboy’ to critical acclaim this summer before heading out on tour, most recently performing two sell out shows at the Olympia Theatre.
Tickets went on sale Friday, December 13th at 9am from Ticketmaster
