The best hostel we´ve stayed in!!! unfortunately it was only for 2 nights, wish we had stayed more, especially because we stayed in another hostel in dublin for 5 days more and the other one was horrible. Congratulations for the safety, cleanliness, staff, service, breakfast, everything! PERFECT!

We love this hostel. It was our third visit to Dublin and our third time staying at the Globetrotter. The beds are comfortable and we love the sleeping pods. The bed side lamps are a nice feature (but they didn't work in all the beds.) Location is fantastic - an easy walk to sites and right next to the airport bus.

Auberge accueillante et très bien située (à 10 petites minutes à pied de Temple Bar). Logement comme réservé, dans un dortoir de 6 filles. Lit propre, casier pour chacun sous le lit (prévoir un cadenas). Avantage : douche et wc attenant à la chambre, très agréable car n'est utilisé que par les gens du dortoir. Les sanitaires ne sont donc pas en commun et restent plus propre. Possibilité de cuisiner à l'auberge (agréable car le coût de la vie est assez élevé). Bref, auberge à recommander et bon rapport qualité/prix!

We had an excellent stay at the Globetrotters hostel Dublin. The staff are all incredibly friendly and approachable, eager to point out key places to go in Dublin and refer you to the hundreds of leaflets/coupons in the reception area. The twin room we stopped in was very clean and the beds were extremely comfy. The Irish breakfast wasn't bad either!! We would definitely stop there again!

Although I stayed in the Townhouse, which is adjacent to Globetrotters, I had a wonderful stay! The room was very reasonably priced and very comfortable! The shared bathroom was clean and we enjoyed the sink in our room. It was wonderful to wake up and have a cup of tea while watching television in bed-- a luxury for a college student's budget hotel room! To top it all off, the staff of The Townhouse/ Globetrotters was very welcoming and helpful! They gave us tips for getting around Dublin, as well as things to see and places to visit. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the lack of internet in the room-- for someone who can only communicate with friends via wifi, this was a little frustrating. However, there was wifi in the lobby with a great connection. I would definitely stay here again! Wonderful staff, room, and location! In fact, I enjoyed the neighborhood to the north of the river much more than the tourist attractions to the south!

Comfort, security and convenience. AA++++. This is my 3rd stay at globetrotters and I am never disappointed. The womens dorm is clean and bright en suite and has its own min Kitchen to make tea, sandwiches and snacks. It has a large walk in closet for luggage or to hang your laundry. The lounge areas are tidy and comfortable and its great to use the kitchen downstairs to make dinners. Great place. Will stay again and recommend.

This hostel definitely surpassed my expectations. The common areas are beautiful, including a nice dining area and a sitting area. There is also an area to use the hostel's computers for free. The dorms were beautiful, with ensuite bathrooms which were comfortable and clean. The staff was lovely, very accommodating and friendly. The kitchen was a little small and very old - the stove and sink wasn't in great conditions. You also cannot use the kitchen before 2 p.m. However, there is a big fridge to keep food in and a microwave. I would definitely stay here again.

My stay was absolutely enjoyable. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, always making sure I was comfortable or asking if i was in need of any help or assistance through out my stay. I had great conversations with them as well during my time in the Hostel. Every day when me and my friend arrived back at our room, it was clean and tidy, our beds were made and the bathroom was always fitted with new white towels. There was also a full kitchen in the hostel free for use of the guests if you felt like making dinner instead of going out. The Tesco and Super Valu grocery store is 2 blocks to the left or right of the hostel and very cheap. Making food in the kitchen was a blast! The hostel is less than 2 blocks away from O'Connell street (the main shopping road) and less than 5min walk from the center of Dublin on the other side of the bridge. The perfect location. It is surrounded by restaurants and friendly people who are always willing to help. It is also 1 block away from the 747 Air Link bus stop which takes you directly to and from the airport and comes every 15min which is great for any traveler. It was a wonderful hostel in a perfect location. I would recommend it to anyone and will definitely be going back one day soon.

My favorite hostel, by far (I've stayed in 7 so far in Dublin) PROS: It feels more like a nice hotel, with a pub-like interior. Actually, it also operates B&B; rooms in the same building. The beds are more private than in usual dorms: In some rooms they're built into the walls, with separators between beds, private shelves, private light, and 1 big drawer each. In others it's normal bunks but only in pairs (e.g the 12-bed dorm has in fact 4 different 'rooms' with 1 or 2 bunks each - except they have no doors between them and share the same bathroom. hence '12') It has lots of sittings space to hang around, and a cute Japanese garden. The kitchen is very well equipped. To cap it all, it's the only hostel I know with a full Irish breakfast. CONS: the hostel seems to have a specialty of hosting very large groups of French teenagers, who generally all get up at 6am and make loads of noise and squabbling for over on hour before they finally head up to breakfast, where they will create a school-canteen size queue.

The location is perfect, and it was very easy to find. When I go back to Dublin I won't stay anywhere else, we only wish we were there more than one night! Thanks!

We stayed at globetrotters twice in the month of November, first with a large group and secondly as a couple. We found the overall experience very pleasant and comfortable. Staff were very friendly particularly at reception. We stayed in a 12 person mixed dorm and everything was great. The bathroom was a little worse for wear in the morning on account of a group of men that were travelling together and had been out the previous night. The rooms were clean and very warm. The night staff were also very friendly and security was also very good. Overall our experience at globetrotters was a very positive one and we look forward to many more stays in the future.

from the word go the staff were really friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to help out when they good. Even received a warm greeting when I had to check out at 4 in the morning. Breakfast was really nice and a great way to start the day. Excellent location and price would definetly stay again
