Globetrotters Tourist Hostel is special. It is ideally situated only a 2 minute walk from the main street in Dublin (O'Connell Street). The hostel building is very famous. It is 200 years old and was once the home of famous poets and playwrights Mr. Dion Boucicault and Lafcadio Hearne (Koizumi Yakumo). We have gone to great lengths to restore the buildings and still maintain the character.
There is a marvelous friendly atmosphere here with hostellers and staff.

The hostel is open 24 hours a day all year round.

Most tourist attractions are within walking distance - Trinity College, the National Art Gallery, Museums, etc. Across the road is the Bicycle Hire Shop and around the corner is the Central Bus Station and Train Station. The Airport Bus stops right outside our door!
